Meet the Crawfords
Hi, we are Rusty and Ashley Crawford. Founders and CEO of Tates Place.
A little about us:
Rusty and Ashley met at Nascar (random right?) and have been married for over 13 years. Rusty is from Coahoma, Texas and Ashley is from Brownwood, Texas. They are the proud parents of three boys, two on earth and their precious Tate in heaven. They love all things outdoors, have a house full of animals including their indoor pig, Merle Hoggard! They both have huge servant's hearts and love the Lord.
A word from The Crawfords:
"On July 22, 2021 our lives were flipped upside down. We suddenly lost our precious son, Tate. Tate had seizures and a stroke that took his life. Tate was a healthy, fun-loving pre-teen and within seconds all of that changed.
Our family knew that we wanted to honor Tate and his amazing heart. If you knew him, you knew how good his heart was. He was a child that never wanted anyone to go without. So ultimately we knew that we needed to follow in his footsteps. We knew that we needed to be the hands and feet of Jesus so, that is exactly what we have done.
We are so thankful to those that have supported us on this journey. It has not been an easy one but with lots of prayers, community support as well as family and friends, we are continuing to survive!"

Heather HillHey y’all! I’m Heather Hill, I’m a wife to Cory & mama to Harley and Stryker. I am a Realtor and thats how I was blessed to meet the Crawford family. I have a passion for people & building relationships. When I am not helping people with their Real Estate dreams I love spending time with my family, especially outdoors. I’m an avid sports fan & I want to travel the world. My family and I spend most of our weekends camping & fishing during the warmer months. I am so excited and honored to be a proud member of Tate’s Place Board. Tate has such a special place in our families heart (we joked he was going to be my son in law.) I’ve personally seen the huge impact that Tates Place has already made for our community and I cannot wait to see what’s in store for this amazing organization.
